Hi, I'm Kayla, and I'm reaching out with a heart full of love and hope for my wife, Steph, our daughter Maddy, and the life we're working so hard to build together.

Steph has been living with stage 4 breast cancer for nearly five years. Every day, she faces this disease with unimaginable courage and determination, pushing through treatments, side effects, and uncertainty, all while being the glue that holds our little family together. This last year she has had two hospitalizations, four surgical procedures, and disease progression.

We’re now at a pivotal moment in our journey. As we prepare to move back home to Washington State, we’re also navigating the emotional and complex process of finalizing the adoption of our daughter, Maddy. She’s the joy of our lives — smart, vibrant, and the reason we keep moving forward.

I’m currently in school working toward a future in early childhood education. It’s my dream to continue serving families and children, but balancing caregiving, being our primary income source, school, and daily life has become overwhelming.
