Hi everyone! While visiting friends in southern Utah an aneurysm in my brain burst. I was hundreds of miles from home. The friends I was staying with got me to the hospital in Blanding, where they realized I needed to be flown to Provo IHC. In Provo they ran tests and couldn't find the source of the blood leak. As they ran tests the pressure in my brain built up and I lost the ability to communicate and breathe on my own. They did an emergency procedure to relieve pressure on my brain and it was successful. On Saturday night I regained the ability to talk and breathe on my own. I’m so grateful to be sharing my story. I’m grateful to have so many friends and family that have been reaching out asking how they can help.
