Help Steph and Jeff's IVF Journey

Donation protected
Hello! My name is Denise. You may know one of my sweet friends, Stephanie Morley, and her husband, Jeff. Steph and Jeff have been married for over 10 years, and like most couples, they were excited to start a family. Heartbreakingly, infertility made their dream of having children extremely difficult.

Their infertility journey is filled with ups and downs. They started trying in 2015 with no success. Steph was then diagnosed with endometriosis in 2017. After a successful surgery, they were hopeful this would fix their fertility issues. It turned out not to be the case.

In 2018, a fertility specialist recommended IVF as their only viable option due to dual-factor infertility. They started to save for this expensive procedure.

In 2019, after striving to save as much as they could, Jeff suffered an ankle injury that required surgery, and later was in a head-on collision with another driver that totaled his vehicle. Paying for unexpected surgery and a new vehicle quickly depleted their IVF savings.

In 2020, through a kind person, Steph was miraculously connected to a foundation that donates money for IVF. They applied and were selected! One IVF cycle later, Steph and Jeff were blessed with two embryos (a boy and girl) and gave birth to their baby girl, Nora, in June 2021. What a miracle! She is a beautiful girl and such a joy.

In 2023, despite tight finances, they felt strongly that it was time to bring a little brother into the world for Nora. They spent the last two years hoping, praying, and planning for him to join their family. In a way, it felt like he was already part of their family. They pressed forward in faith and started the transfer process that summer. They were extremely excited to get a positive pregnancy test! However, a week later Steph miscarried. They were devastated.

The end of 2022 and beginning of 2023 also brought a series of financial difficulties for Steph and Jeff. They unknowingly lost insurance coverage while Steph dealt with a series of medical issues that required several ER visits, expensive testing, and eventually surgery. Nora needed stitches after a trampoline accident—another ER visit. And Jeff was laid off from his job, around the same time Steph suffered her miscarriage. They are still paying off these medical costs.

In 2024, Steph and Jeff tried cheaper fertility solutions. They completed more testing and tried different fertility medications, but were once again recommended IVF as the only viable option.

To know Steph and Jeff is to have sincere, selfless, genuine friends. They are always the first to help when someone needs it. Steph and Jeff are the epitome of quiet kindness. Always cheerful despite circumstances, and content not to be the center of attention. It would have been so easy for them to become bitter or angry with all they’ve been through. Instead, they are resilient, empathetic, and selfless individuals with incredible faith.

Jeff and Steph have spent thousands of dollars on fertility and medical treatments over the years. Allowing their friends to help through fundraising has been difficult when Steph and Jeff know they have been so incredibly blessed already. But they would do anything for anyone. We really want to do something for them.

We set up this GoFundMe as a way to help ease their financial burden and shower them with love and hope toward their next IVF cycle. Any amount helps and is so very much appreciated! Thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support!
