Hey Rochester!
Stem needs your help in making our dreams become a reality.
As many of you know, we are moving from our mothership location at 258 Alexander St. We've treasured this location like our second home, and we've spent so much time and dedication treating it as such.
This location is where our dreams began. Where we started serving our incredible community. Where we sewed a seed, that grew into a family. Our Stem family. But unfortunately, as many of you are aware, our safety and well being has been continually compromised. After being robbed six (yes, SIX!) times, we made the hard decision to move.
Finding a new location was not easy and there were many hurdles and let downs along the way. We dreamt of a location that could guarantee not only our safety, but the safety and well being of our loyal customers. Without you guys we wouldn't be here today.
It is also why we are coming to you, with our struggles. Today we are humbly asking for donations toward our move. Moving in general is expensive. Moving in the middle of a pandemic is even more expensive.
With your support, we are hoping our transition can go a little smoother. Closing for a brief period of time between the move has us worried, and it's something we would like to avoid if possible. As many of you know, and probably many more don't know, we (the owners of Stem-Kerynn and Sam) have dedicated our entire lives to this shop. We are both mothers and raising families while also trying to serve our beautiful plant community. We don't have other jobs. Stem, and our families, are our world.
We are hoping to make this moving period easier so that we can continue to provide everything Rochester deserves.
