Help Stella with Transport for Shawn's Care

Hey everyone,

I am hoping we can all get together and lend a helping hand to Stella and Shawn. Two weeks ago, Shawn was rushed unresponsive to the hospital. He was intubated and put on dialysis due to an infection in his blood. During this time he was also put on a heart machine to save his life. The decision to do so caused massive blood clots in his arms and legs. They attempted surgery to get rid of the blood clots but were unsuccessful. His arms and legs turned black and died and he was left with only one option. To amputate both legs and both arms. These surgeries are very risky as his heart is very weak. But Shawn is a fighter! Since his first day of being in the hospital he has, become fully aware with no brain damage, gotten off of dialysis, had his feeding tube removed, overcome the blood infection, endured two leg amputation surgeries and most of all has a positive outlook and kept his sense of humor and that big ol cheesy smile of his on his face.

Now you can only imagine the stress and worry that Stella, his mom, has been under. She is at the hospital every single day checking on her baby. Feeding him and comforting him and refusing to bring him a burger he keeps asking for but can't have yet haha. Any waking moment she isn't at the hospital she is at work. She's emotionally and physically tired.

They are both so scared of what the future holds. Understandably.

Prayers have helped bring him this far. And I'm asking for your continued Prayers as the days roll on and he goes for the amputation of both arms and rehabilitation.

Stella is currently without a vehicle so she is using Uber to go to the hospital every day, then to work, then back to hospital and back home. I would like to help take the stress of affording all these trips off her plate.
