Stella’s journey began when she was found malnourished and frightened at a restaurant in Marble Falls. My family tried to catch her that same day, but she was too scared to let anyone close. Thankfully, someone who worked at the restaurant was able to catch her later and reached out to us, knowing we could provide her shelter before an upcoming freeze. We welcomed Stella into our home, determined to give her the safety and care she desperately needed.

After bringing Stella to the vet, we learned she has a broken jaw and a tooth that has caused a hole in the roof of her mouth. The vet advised us to get her dental work and spaying done as soon as possible to prevent further pain and complications. Stella’s medical needs are urgent, and we want to do everything we can to help her heal and live a happy, healthy life.

My family has become emotionally attached to Stella, and it breaks our hearts to see her living in fear after such a traumatic experience. With four cats already, taking on the burden of her medical expenses is not something we had planned for, but we couldn’t turn our backs on her.
