A note from Stella: "Hi lovely humans, I am still processing this surreal and devastating loss, so my dear friend Justin helped me write this. I am doing the best I can to keep up with everything and I hold endless gratitude for the support, patience and love received as I navigate building my life back from the ashes."
Stella lost her home during the devastating Marshal Fire that swept through the town of Superior on December 30th, 2021 - decimating 100s of homes in its path.
(The address was: 207 W William St Superior, CO). Stella and her sweet dog Sage were safe from the fire but lost almost everything else, including a significant amount of Stella’s glasswork business materials (her primary source of income)
In a year filled with grief and transitions, Stella has been through it. She was already experiencing temporary transitional housing in the home that was destroyed by the fire - coupled with cPTSD, chronic pain and sensory issues- rebuilding will be significantly challenging to navigate without the support of her community. What she needs most is to begin building back a sense of safety and security.
By contributing to this fund, your support will help Stella to find long term stable housing, buy food, acquire a bed, clothing, recover government documents, access therapy/mental health care, and support her fur companion, Sage's needs.
Stella is an incredibly kind person who is fiercely committed to social justice causes and is consistently giving back to her community through fundraisers and her art.
Now is the time that WE, as her community, can support in this desperate time of need.

Any household/clothing donations can be dropped off at Justin’s home in Northglenn, or where Stella is temporarily staying in Engelwood. Please reach out to Justin Twist on Facebook for more information.
Stella’s Clothing Sizes:
Extra small, small, and medium work well, but Stella is not opposed to larger sizes as she likes roomy clothing. Prefers overalls/dungarees to pants due to sensory issues. Shoe sizes 7 ½ to 8.
If you are unable to donate please consider sharing this information to help get a widespread community outreach. Thank you in advance for your love and support.
