One day, we noticed Stella had a lump in her abdomen and wasn't herself, so we took her in to get checked. After several tests, we learned that she had a tumor attached to her kidney, which was causing dangerous internal bleeding. Her blood count was so low that surgery was extremely risky, and the doctors warned us that she might not survive. Despite the odds, we decided to go ahead with the surgery, hoping for a miracle.

Amazingly, Stella pulled through. The days following her surgery were stressful and heartbreaking, but she showed incredible strength and determination to live. Even the doctors were inspired by her will to fight. Now, Stella is on the road to recovery, but the journey isn't over yet. We still face mounting vet bills, the cost of her surgery, and the expense of sending her tumor for a biopsy to determine if it is cancerous. If it is, she will need additional cancer care.
