Hi, my name is Billie Jo Husfeld. I am the owner/mommy of Stella Ann Husfeld. "My fur baby". Shes been with me since 5 weeks old, and is now 5 years old. On April 27th 2024 Stella was beaten extremely bad by my neighbors. The man that came forward after cops said they will all go to jail, name is Naaman Patrick McGregor. Stella stays outside in my back porch, which also allows them to go in and out to my fenced in backyard. I got a call when I was not home that day from another neighbor that was witnessing the neighbors directly across the street from me, hitting my dog with sticks and other objects. I rushed home to 6 cop cars on my block and a group of men that all had a play in the abuse to Stella. She was taken into their backyard and beat and then dragged her helpless body by a rope they tied around her neck to the point she couldn't breathe then tied her close up to a tree. I immediately ran over to Stella and seen she was hurt tremendously. She had blood coming out her nose and left eye. Her head was so swollen, and next to her laid a bloody beer bottle. She had defecated multiple times through the abuse, it was that intense to her innocent body. She didn't want to stand up and was whining and shaking. I picked her up and brought her to my home where I had to cut with siscors the rope from her neck. I took her immediately to the emergency animal hospital cause her eye was swollen shut along with her head. Stella went through the worst animal abuse that morning. She is my sweet girl and has and would never hurt or attack a soul. Her story is on Wesh 2 News and was in the paper. Stellas medical bills are already piling up and I am a single mom and own my home that I'm now forced to leave to keep my pets and I safe. I need help with her vet bills so I can give her the proper care she needs. Right now Stella can't see from her left eye and we will be seeing the vet often. Anything helps and I appreciate absolutely everything and support everyone has shown for Stella! Thank you so much.
