Help Stella Run Again, CCL Surgeries
Donation protected
Hi my name is Chloe and my dogs name is Stella. My boyfriend and I adopted Stella from a shelter at 8 weeks old in Orlando, FL. She is and always will be our "quarantine puppy". I currently work as a Registered Nurse in the Orlando area and purchasing Stella helped me decompress during these unprecedented times. Stella is a very energetic, loving, and full of personality. Stella is now 1.7 months. She has given us so much happiness and it breaks our heart that she is in pain. In October 2021 Stella tore her Left Hind Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CCL) and two days later she unfortunately tore her Right Hind Cranial Cruciate Ligament. This is also known as ACL injuries. We couldn't believe how quickly our dog has gone from sprinting in our yard to barely getting up to go to the bathroom. The best treatment for her, due to her age and activity, is having a double Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO). This surgery comes with a long healing process and a large payment. Stella will have one repair done at a time and after 8 weeks she can have the second one completed. We wouldn't be asking for help from others but we simply can't afford two surgeries. The funds will go to each of the surgeries including anesthesia, repairs, medications, scans. We appreciate anything, even if it's just re-sharing our story so we can start to rebuild our little family. We couldn't be more grateful for all of the kind words and support we are getting. Thanks for your time!
