This has been one of the most heartbreaking and overwhelming seasons for me. For the last five months, both of my dogs, Stella and Bubba, have required continuous vet visits, treatments, and procedures, and the combined costs have grown far beyond what I can manage on my own.

Stella suddenly began having violent seizures with no clear cause. She needed several emergency appointments, blood work, medications, seizure injections, IV treatments, and monitoring. Despite everything that was done for her, she only got worse, and I had to make the devastating decision to put her down.

During all of this, both dogs also had to undergo procedures to remove additional growths that required anesthesia, testing, and follow-up care. What we hoped would be minor issues turned into repeated visits and treatments.

At the same time, Bubba has been facing further health issues of his own. He developed an eye ulcer that needed treatment and medication, and now he has a growing mass near his rectum that needs to be surgically removed as soon as possible. It is firm, growing inward, and starting to affect his ability to go to the bathroom comfortably. Surgery is necessary to prevent it from getting worse and to make sure it is not cancerous.

Between Stella’s emergency care and burial, the growth removals for both dogs, Bubba’s eye ulcer treatments, and his upcoming surgery, the total expenses are more than I can carry. I’m creating this GoFundMe in hopes of getting the full amount covered so I can take care of everything related to Stella’s passing and make sure Bubba receives the care he needs.
