I was living in Chicago about a year and a half ago, when my younger brother had a medical emergency. I flew back to LA and was at the hospital when he passed. With the loss of my brother, I decided to stay in LA to be around my family. I left two jobs and many friends back in Chicago.
A few months later, my mom encouraged me to go back to school with a major in psychology. I took her advice, I have done well, and I just got my acceptance letter from Loyola University, Chicago. However, those close to me know that I have been underemployed (like many others in the service industry out here). On the bright side, I can get one of my old jobs in Chicago back, so I’ve got a little bit of a safety net already there.
My acceptance fee is $500. Unfortunately, I am not in a place where I can pay this fee. I would appreciate any support I can get. Thank you.
