Support Stefan's Soccer Dream

Hello, my name is Sebastian and I am setting up this Go Fund Me page for my younger brother Stefan. Growing up I had no clue what I wanted to do, but my brother did. Picture this, you are two-years old again discovering what the world has to offer. The toys you play with start bringing you closer to who you will become. As the years go on the toys start to change, but so do you. Now what if there was only ever one toy? A soccer ball to be exact and this ball was glued to your feet. My brother has been offered a rare opportunity achieved by his athleticism, sacrifice and dedication. He has one hurdle left to get to his dream of becoming a professional soccer player; the financial hurdle.

The straight-A, honour’s roll, Ontario scholar turned down many scholarships all around Canada in an attempt to live his dream as a professional attacking mid-fielder in Europe. After graduating high school in 2021 he has been dedicated on and off the pitch to making this dream a reality; training every day. From a 4-year-old playing at the Beaches Recreation Center, to East York house league, chosen captain of every team at Williamson Road Public School “The Wildcats”, Cherry Beach Rep, Glen Ames “Guardians” Senior Public School, Malvern Collegiate Institute “Black Knights”, Toronto Skillz Academy U14, all the way to a 15-year-old training and playing with Toronto Skillz League One in Ontario.

Stefan previously went to Germany in 2019 to trial with youth academies (FK Pirmasens, TSV Schott Mainz, TuS Koblenz, and SV Elversberg) through Schaechter Sports. His 2020 trip was canceled due to Covid-19 but this did not stop him from going back in 2021. He was scouted by youth academies and now has the opportunity to play with SC Hauenstein U19 and the SC Hauenstein first team in the state of Baden-Wurttemberg - they want Stefan back for January 13th, 2022. After that, the dream is to continue to move up to higher divisions either with a U23 or a first team.

Any donation amount would be greatly appreciated and will go towards, travel, accommodation, costs to set up and stay in Germany helping Stefan achieve his ultimate dream to work his way up the German soccer pyramid and turn pro.
