I'm Bill O'Brien and I'm reaching out on behalf of my long-time best friend Stefan Getty—a talented tattoo artist, devoted family man, and one of the most respected and loved members of the Antrim community.

Stefan has always been the kind of person who lights up every room he walks into. Whether he's creating intricate, meaningful tattoos that tell people's stories, sharing thoughtful conversation and deep introspection, or simply being there for his family and friends, Stefan brings warmth, creativity, and positivity wherever he goes. As the owner of his studio and a prominent figure in Antrim, he's touched countless lives through his art and his genuine spirit. He's the friend who listens, the artist whose work leaves a lasting mark, and the family man who puts his loved ones first.That vibrant, energetic Stefan is now facing one of the toughest battles of his life.

Stefan was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 2017.

"I had mild symptoms I had no awareness were anything other than normal life stresses and pains, but my illness was found by the grace of God- accidentally while playing football I hurt my back and during a ct scan it was discovered!!,

I was quickly diagnosed and put on an extreme treatment to keep it at bay called lemtrada, which left me completely depeleted and susceptible to any illness as I suffered through the treatment, my symptoms have always been minimal but the fear of what could be for all my life and especially missing out on important milestones with my children, as much as I stay fit and healthy there is something inside me trying to kill me, and now it has flared up in a big way!!"

Stefan always shows incredible strength and resilience, continuing to create art and support his family despite the daily struggles.

Now that Stefan's MS has flared up again, This latest flare has brought numbness to his face and shoulder as well multiple new lesions shown on his latest scan!! It's heartbreaking to watch someone so full of life and community spirit face the fear of losing his independence.

Luckily with the rapid advances in novel and cutting edge treatments that have very minimal side effects we've turned to a promising regenerative option.
