Help Maya's family through this tragic loss

Hello,

My name is Ashlane Hale. I have been blessed to have known Maya for 20+ years. She and I met at the Rolf Institute where I was studying and she was working. We had an immediate, deep, connection upon our first conversation which catapulted our decades long friendship. But this was Maya. She was not a casual person. If you met her, you were going deep within yourself. She had the ability to take you to your depths in a completely gentle and loving way and help guide you when you didn’t even realize you needed it. She was self-less and would give her time to anyone who needed her wisdom. Because she was so wise, friends leaned on her and looked to her for guidance, love, and understanding of many situations.

She and Stayton were a power couple. He being a wealth of knowledge, a warrior of the truth, and a powerful teacher to those who dared to look within. They knew they were soul mates and everyone that knew them as a couple could clearly see it. They had a love child after years of marriage. Bella was the apple of Maya’s eye, and her love and affection for Bella was amazing to witness. She was such an incredible mom. She had the family she wanted, and she loved them fiercely.

On July 27th, Maya passed unexpectedly due to a medical emergency. I am helping to set up this Go Fund Me on behalf of her family: her mother Marta, her sister Monika, her husband Stayton and her daughter Bella. This family needs our support right now as they grieve the loss of the most gracious, intelligent, and loving daughter, sister, wife and mother. These funds will go towards funeral expenses, childcare for Bella, and help with living expenses as Stayton and Bella strive to find a new normal.
