Dear valued clients and community

we are reaching out to share a difficult and upsetting situation that unfolded on Friday January 10 th when we were unexpectedly locked out of our salon by landlords.

while they claim that we failed to pay rent we want to set the record straight .. we are fully up to date with our rent payments and have always been diligent in fulfilling our obligations.The reason we were locked

out stems from a series of ongoing issues that have escalated over the past few weeks .. after two and a half years of renting this space the landlord suddenly informed us that we would be responsible for paying hydro and backpay.. additionally we were told we had to control the heating for the unit upstairs.. for the last month , this heat has been causing our space to become unbearably hot , damaging our products and affecting our ability to serve clients.. despite our complaints the landlord refused to address we were not happy ..

on Friday they took the drastic step of locking us out , leaving us deviated and shocked , we believe this action is driven by personal animosity and the fact that our lease is set to expire in just a few months .. instead of working with us they chose to end our business relationship in the worst way possible .. we are currently seeking legal advice and exploring our options , but our immediate focus is on finding a new space for our business and staff.. we have a team that depends on us and we have clients who have supported us through the years .our staff, many of whom have families to support , is counting on us to find a new home for our salon ..
