Our very own Toledo Patron "Saynt" of Fashion Design, Stayce Carey, is in need of our help to keep his housing and continue his art. Stayce has been one of my dearest and closest friends since we first met a decade ago, but more than that, he has been a force to be reckoned with in the Toledo community for even longer than that.

Due to predatory landlord practices and unfortunately losing his job a few months ago, Stayce is facing eviction due to falling behind on rent. His rent varies from month to month as well, making it difficult to adequately budget (wild that any place can even legally do that). He is working toward finding housing that better suits his needs by the end of his lease, which is in March of 2025.

More immediately, he has to be able to come up with $4000 in order to not be out on the streets in the middle of winter by the end of January. This is an emergency. Please share widely, and donate if you are able to. Even the smallest amount will help. Many people have been privy to Stayce's talents, and he deserves to have a space to continue providing those to our community. No one deserves to be without housing in winter due to falling on hard times in an unfortunately predatory current housing situation. Please share and donate!
