Help Stas Fund Rehabilitation for Soldiers
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Stas. I’m from Ukraine and it’s been three years since I left my country. This is my second year at Camden Hills. I live in Camden with my mom and two siblings. I always wanted to help my country but I thought I am too far to do that, and one day I came up with the idea to create a fundraiser. My aunt in law, a journalist on local radio, took an interview from a guy who runs a Volunteer Surgical Hospital. It provides rehabilitation for soldiers in my hometown in Ukraine. I know how it is to be in the middle of the war, waking up at night hearing a siren, and realizing that above you is flying a rocket but I can’t even imagine how it is to be there, fighting the war. There are a lot of injured soldiers, who are transported from the east in my city, for physical and psychological rehabilitation. They need special prolonged treatment. I want to raise money for this Hospital.
So with the intercultural club we started our year-long fundraising effort to support the Hospital. I truly believe that together we can help.
