Fruitful Orchard Montessori started its children’s house program in January 2018 with a desire to make a global standard, well implemented Montessori education accessible to children in Abuja, Nigeria who might ordinarily not be able to access it. We also wanted to provide a model for local schools and teachers looking to implement Montessori best practices.
Our children are blooming and as our oldest children turn 6, we want to continue in this goal by providing the next Montessori environment to allow them learn and grow. This is where we need your help.
We are seeking assistance in building an authentic Montessori elementary program. We have rented a property but it will require significant renovations. We have already started but still have a lot to do.
All funds will go towards renovation of the building and equipping the indoor and outdoor environment.
With your support, our children will continue to experience the highest quality of Montessori education going up to age 12. 20% of our children are non-paying and we offer need based scholarships to families who need it. Any surpluses will go towards this.
With your help, our children will continue to enjoy a high quality Montessori education and our community will have a strong example of what an authentic Montessori environment looks like for the 6-12 age group, and a place for teachers to observe and complete practice teaching. This will in turn lead to more quality Montessori schools in Nigeria.
