My name is Tiara Granger, and I’m building something bigger than myself — Starr Medical, LLC, a company dedicated to helping clinics run smoother by handling the heavy paperwork, scheduling, new patient onboarding and authorizations that steal time away from patient care. But this journey isn’t just about starting a business. It’s about survival, resilience, and turning struggle into purpose.

For the past 13 months, my wife has been held off her federal work duties, fighting to get back into the career she loves. Just when she finally ordered too return, the government shutdown hit — knocking us right back into uncertainty. Through it all, I’ve been holding down our family of six, keeping the vision alive, and pushing forward step by step.

And here’s the part I’m most proud of:

I haven’t sat back waiting on a handout. I’ve already poured every resource and sacrifice I could into Starr Medical. I wrote a complete business plan, registered with the State of Tennessee, designed business cards, and even set up a company phone and fax line. I Have even started marketing, getting Starr Medical name out there to the community. These weren’t luxuries — they were faith moves, proof that I’m committed to making this dream real no matter the obstacles. Now, I’m at the final hurdle: covering the official LLC filing fees and startup costs to make Starr Medical fully official and open for business. This is where I need my community.
