Help Starkey the City pup with emergency surgery!

Hello to all, thank you for your time. Yesterday on September 14, 2021 while sitting at my work drive thru window I witnessed a brutal attack to an innocent 2 month old puppy.
There was a couple who I saw that seemed to be bickering back and forth, pushing a grocery cart with food in it. The male then decided to kick over the grocery cart with all of the food and also the puppy all over the middle of the road. As any innocent and scared animal would, the puppy scurried off down the road between City Hall and Starke FD. The male then approached the puppy picked him up, threw him like a football 20 foot into the air and down the street about 30 yards. The puppy landed on its back and crew he’d in horrible pain and agony. He was in shock. The male just slowly walked up to the animal and stared at him, as if he was waiting on him to die.
I immediately ran out of my work place, down the steps, across the street, picked up this puppy and took him to the local veterinarian in Starke. The puppy was covered in blood and his lungs were filling up with fluid. The wait of not knowing was the hardest and not knowing the outcome or extent of his injuries.
Needless to say, this baby needs extensive surgery and a lot of recovery for no valid reason! This puppy had to have his jaw sewn back up to the bottom of his teeth, he has a herniated diaphragm (when he landed from such a harsh throw and long fall, his intestines were shoved up into the bottom of his diaphragm) He has contusions, road rash, a tear on his ear, fluid in his lungs and some punctures.
All of this for no valid reason.
The 17 year old who committed this crime was apprehended about two hours later. When the man was asked why he did it, his response was “I was just mad”. Just mad? Okay, I’ll let the readers make their own judgments on that comment. He will most likely be tried as an adult, as this is a felony in Florida.
So, as of now, yesterday cost me $800 for a puppy I didn’t even know I would have. Today will cost more money, they are keeping him to evaluate him and prep him for his surgery tomorrow. Thursday is his extensive surgery to try to remove his intestines from his diaphragm (not knowing what other complications will have to be assessed and fixed at that time). This surgery will cost $1500. So far I am looking at over $3000 in bills for this puppy.
All funds donated will go straight into his account which will go for all of his medical bills and and rehab and recovery he will need!
So, I am asking from the bottom of my heart, please, please, help get this baby to a full and complete recovery where he can blossom into the amazing, beautiful and grateful dog he can be. Anything helps, as you know it all ads up. It’s just a lot of money that I don’t have to fork out for the little fella and I will go without before I let any animal go without.
