Every ONE Needs a Home of Their Own

Want to join us in making a difference? We’re raising money to benefit Starfish Animal Rescue Every ONE Needs A Home of Their Own Building Fund. Any donation will help make an impact and help us to continue to save so many deserving animals. Since our start in 2007, we’ve never had a home of our own. In the early days we transported to anywhere we could, including retail parking lots or behind pet supply stores. We’ve also had generous supporters allow us to use their facilities for the day of transport arrival. As the numbers of animals we rescue grew, so did our need for a more permanent place. Our supplies were scattered around in multiple volunteer’s garages. Our medications and paperwork and crates and equipment were stored in random locations as well. We currently rent our facility and our building was recently put up for sale. After 14 years, we are finally in the process of purchasing a home of our very own and we need your help! We have a few generous donors that have pledged to match all donations up to $25,000! We need everyone’s help to make this exciting endeavor a reality. Our new home will ensure that we have a secure place to welcome our incoming rescue animals every other Saturday. A place for our supplies and equipment to be readily on hand and available when needed. A place to expand and come up with more ways that we can serve the animals, our supporters and the community.
