Help Stars vets bill please

After we brought Star home and buried him , we stood with our young dog Diesel who was sniffing around and watching quietly. Star was his best buddy. Diesel appeared subdued. While we were in the garden watching him, he went over to Stars grave, dug a little hole beside it and placed his favourite toy in the hole. You can imagine we were both in bits all over again. The toy has remained there. He has definitely left it for Star. I can feel myself well up again now.
We are nearly there with your wonderful kindness , so I think this will be the final update to you all if we manage to collect about £455 more.
So I’m giving a final big wish .
You have all been so generous and certainly we could not have dealt with this bill without you and given Star a dignified end to his special life.
It’s been an education going through everything listed on the bill they did and gave him. Incredible. Langfords are amazing , I highly recommend them. Just have deep pockets.
I will be changing vets
So please share just one last time for Star. ⭐ for ever shining bright .
Thank you from both Paul and myself and our remaining furry tribe xx
UPDATE
I had to take Star to Bristol on Friday evening to get the medication immediately he needed as he was going down hill fast and Polden vets said it would be another week before they would receive the life saving meds.
Josh ,the vet from Langdons rang me late yesterday afternoon, Star had taken a turn for the worse, he’d had a seizure and was trembling and very very ill.
The neuro vet said that his brain & eyes were seriously damaged.
Josh had covered all options possible. he was the best . He was brilliant.
The prognosis was that they were at that time transferring him to intensive care .
His anaemia was so so bad.
Even with a blood transfer, there would be a reduced likely hood of him coming back from it as he was so very weak.
Even then, his brain and eyes would not be functioning, he’d be like a zombie so the outlook would be very short lived. It was too late. Poldens took too long. We got him Langdons too late due to the blood results taking 10 days to come back, which cost £329.
We both drove there immediately.
Star was unresponsive.
It was with great sadness and a very heavy broken heart, we decided to give him a dignified goodbye. It was so so hard. I am completely broken. It’s the first time I’ve seen Paul breakdown. Star was one of his favourites, as it was Paul who taught Star to meow Hello. He was so clever.
He is buried in our front garden . It was his place, he loved it there.
I want to thank you for all your support and love of our feline friends. I thank you in behalf of Star, he’s now with my grandfather, the Dr Doolittle of animals. He will be safe and cared for until we meet again.
A huge thank you to Josh at Langdons. Special thank you to Elizabetta di Gatti , Jenny Dean and Ross Hemsworth for your kind words, information and support. AND TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR DONATIONS.❤️
I just have the bill to pay for now, up to Friday night it was up to £1500, probably nearer the £3500 now. so I’m going leave the GoFundMe page running if you don’t mind, and yes do please continue to share as I have to find £3000, thanks to you all though , you have already raised £1059 of that.
I need to rest now as all my hydrocortisone has gone and I need to top up or else I’ll be an ambulance case within the hour myself . Cried so much.
Bless you, love you from

The new tests for Star have been and sent off we are awaiting results The bill just for the tests is £329 . Thank you so much for helping If the tests are confirmed as treatment-able we will need to find £2000 x it would be heart breaking to come so far and then cannot afford the treatment so any help no matter how small will help This morning Star enjoyed some tuna first he’s eaten in 4 days x bless him he’s really trying hard to live thank you for your love and prayers xx
Hi my name is Georgina , my furry feline friend is Star, a beautiful little soul. Very clever and mimic us saying hello.
He has very quickly become ill, lethargic, off his food, weight loss . The blood tests show low anaemia and fluid in his abdomen. He has the symptoms of “wet fip” which is treatable with antiviral drugs costing about £2500 .
We have already paid £300 to a vet who has not been very helpful and only suggested another better scan of £500.
Luckily on Facebook there has been an excellent response from vet friends who have looked at his blood results and have given a very high diagnostic outcome for wet fip.
i am a disabled pensioner with only a little extra work to help ends meet , so the cost of this drug is out of the question for me and Star.
I would feel so guilty if star died just because of money .its just so wrong and it would break my heart.
If you can help at all I’d be so grateful..but Star would be even more grateful to live. I have never done a go fund me before but I’ll do any thing to help him . Thank you
