Hi, my name is Mariela and I am raising funds for my friends Stanley and Ana Leighton and their two kids, Scarlett and Jalen. A month ago Stanley was hit hard with Covid-19. His symptoms started off as those of a really bad flu and then progressed into full blown Pneumonia and a lung abscess. With hardly being able to breathe, he was rushed and admitted to the hospital. He has been under the care of doctors and nurses that are helping him get better and well enough to come home soon. Being allowed only on visitor a day, Ana has been by his side every moment possible.

Not being able to work, Stanley has been without pay for almost an entire month and when he gets released from the hospital he will be on disability for a minimum of 6-8 more weeks. This is causing a heavy financial burden on his family. Now, they have the added stress of not being able to pay their rent and meet other financial obligations. Those of us that know Stanley know what a hard working individual he is. He prides himself in being able to provide for his family. Not being able to provide income during this time is stressful for him and an added burden to his well being and recovery.

This is why I am asking we help assist the Leighton family financially, in any amount possible. We want to relieve Stanley of financial worry and allow him to give his full energy and strength to his rapid recovery.
