Encouraging a lifelong love of learning in underresourced K-12 communities!
Hello! We are Stanford Spokes, a team of six Stanford University undergraduates biking and teaching across the United States this summer. Over ten weeks, we’ll travel more than 3,500 miles from San Francisco to Washington, D.C., leading hands-on educational workshops in communities along the way.
We partner with libraries and community organizations to support students who are underrepresented in post-secondary education. Our workshops focus on building relationships, curiosity, problem-solving skills and confidence.
Biking is crucial to our approach: when we bike, we meet communities where they are, on the ground.
Stanford Spokes is student-run and relies entirely on donations. With the closure of Stanford Digital Education, your support is more important than ever to ensure we can continue to educate the next generation.
Help us reach our goal of $40,000 to cover teaching supplies, equipment, food, and lodging during our education-focused trek. Every donation directly supports our work with students.
The following donations will be recognized on our website. We are grateful for contributions of any size:
Platinum $5000 and above
Gold $2500-$4999
Silver $1000-$2499
Bronze $500-$999
Join us in sustaining learning beyond the classroom, mile by mile. Every donation counts! Thank you for supporting Stanford Spokes, and the students we will meet this summer!
