The Stanford 11 were arrested on June 5th, 2024, during a protest of Stanford University's investments in apartheid-Israel's genocide in the Gaza Strip. 18 months later, defendants will be headed to trial to fight 2 politically motivated felony charges levied by the SCC District Attorney's Office.
Donate to mitigate costs that Stanford 11 defendants will incur through the trial in Santa Clara County.
Navigating numerous bureaucratic court dates that have resulted from these outsized charges has led to difficulty for defendants in accessing stable employment, maintaining reliable housing, and securing transportation to and from court.
Where will my donation go?
- Funds raised will go directly towards transportation and housing costs that defendants face as they navigate lost wages through the duration of trial.
- All funds raised in excess of defendants basic needs will be donated to Mutual Aid/ Relief Efforts in Palestine. Organizers encourage supporters to donate no more than 75% of their total giving capacity to this fundraiser, and to split their donations with causes on the ground in Occupied Palestine.
