Help Stand with Terry: Healing After Tragedy
Donation protected
What was meant to be a fun 4-day vacation trip to Atlanta, Georgia, just to celebrate a friend's birthday and have pure fun, ended up turning out traumatic when Terry Crosby was involved in an evil, malicious hit-and-run accident.
Terry and his fiancée Taj were at "THE BIRD sports bar" in Dunwoody when a man decided to be disrespectful and touch his fiancée. Terry reacted quickly to stand up and assess the situation, which then led to having to physically protect her and himself.
Terry, his fiancée, and 3 other individuals ended up fighting about 20 people in that bar, which in fact included some of the bar's employees. Two of the employees at the bar confirmed that the suspect was a "regular customer," which also explained their defensiveness and aggressive behavior towards Terry's group while trying to be on the suspect's side. Coincidentally, the bar claims to have no working cameras. All parties were not told to leave, only the group of individuals that came with Terry. As Terry and friends proceeded to calmly try and leave the premises, Terry was deliberately struck by a BMW truck owned by the suspect as soon as he stepped into the parking lot.
Terry was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta in critical condition with head trauma, loss of memory, hallucinations, broken bones, ribs, and more.
Terry and his fiancée have no family in Atlanta, Georgia, and need help with finances, lawyers fees, food, transportation, and most importantly housing during this time until they can make it back to Detroit safely.
