Hi my names is Reece and I am fundraising for my dog Stan. My partner I adopted Stan and his brother Steve (both 11yrs old) from Dogs Trust a few months ago. We were told they had a clear bill of health.

However, a few weeks later we noticed that one side of Stan’s face was swollen. After a number of visits to the vets they have said that it is caused by an issue with a tooth root which Stan will need to have an operation for to have this removed. We’ve since been told by the insurance company that they will not cover this. The cost of this operation is £1500 and we cannot afford this even though we both work full time (due to the cost of living). Hence the gofundme page.
