I am a 75-year-old retired person living on a fixed income, depending solely on my monthly Social Security payment. Over the past months, my medical expenses have grown beyond what I can manage. Between the multitude of doctor visits, co-payments, and the constant rise in basic living costs, I have found myself in a very difficult position.

Recently, I have been struggling with severe neurological issues, including migraines, debilitating headaches, and a muffling in my ears that makes it hard to understand what people are saying. My doctors have ordered several upcoming CT scans, MRIs, and procedures—many of which are not fully covered by my insurance. The out-of-pocket costs for these treatments, combined with my regular bills, have become overwhelming.
