Hi everyone,

This fundraiser is to help our neighbors get their feet on the ground, find new homes and replace some of their personal property that was lost in the fire.

The Stamford community has suffered another terrible loss. A building on Main Street, that was home to at least three families, one of

which have three school age children, was destroyed by fire this afternoon. It is a week before Christmas, please help these families rebuild. The proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to the victims of the fire: John Miller and Ania Krasinski, the Colone/ Perez Family (including three school-age children), and Chris and Tyler Pitera. (Chris, by the way, saved a man from the burning building across the street during the fire two years ago). The fire grew quickly, leaving the residents with only the clothes they were wearing. This is Stamford and these are our neighbors and friends.

We will be concluding this GoFundMe Monday, December 22nd. GoFundMe will be transferring money directly to John and Ania, Chris and Tyler and the Colone/ Perez family.  Cash, check and gift card donations are still being collected at TP’s Cafe, Wayne Bank and Robinson Terrace. This has truly been a Christmas Miracle. Thank you so much.
