Hey all,

We are Elyse and Carly, and we are raising funds to help our dear pal Staicha afford much-needed medication and care for her beloved kitty Krueger. Sweet old man Krueger is a super gentle and affectionate senior. He comes eagerly to his name being called, but can usually be found glued to his Staicha. Krueger has been struggling with balance and motor function, and not been able to be his usual self.

After several months of investigative treatment and care by a spectacular and passionate veterinary team, it has been discovered that Krueger is suffering from hyperthyroidism, and requires radio-iodine therapy to successfully treat and eliminate the issue.

The cost of this treatment is $1,700. Not only is this a large fee for anyone to endure in one go, but it comes at a time when Staicha is preparing to close all business accounts and legal filings for the incredible community-staple restaurant she's owned and run for nearly a decade; The Hearty Hooligan. (The closing and legal processes of such also comes with hefty financial costs.)

Our goal is to crowd-source funds from this incredible community that's been known to show up for one another time and time again in times of need, in order to cover the following costs as well as reduce some of the stress that comes with caring for an ailing family member pet.

$1,700 for radio-iodine treatment for Krueger

$300 for follow-up testing and care

$300 to hopefully allow Staicha to TAKE A DAY* OFF (*or two! both jobs!!) in order to care for and be with her cat, without the stress of losing funds, or being able to pay employees to cover her shifts
