We’re developing a new musical and we need your help to make it happen!
Safe Travels is a new jukebox musical written by award-winning playwright Tony Patryn, featuring the music of Jukebox the Ghost. Following an earlier developmental presentation, this staged reading marks a key step forward in shaping the show for future productions. And like so many new works, it can only happen if a community of supporters comes together to help it take off!
About the Show
A storm has grounded all flights in a small, middle-of-nowhere airport, forcing four strangers to stay put. What starts as inconvenience turns into connection, as each of them finds themselves drawn to the one person they never expected. Safe Travels is a musical about chance encounters, love at first sight, and the unexpected ways our lives can change when we’re forced to stay still-all set to the music of Jukebox the Ghost.
Why This Matters (Right Now)
Every musical you’ve ever seen started exactly here: in a room with actors and music stands, taking its very first breath in front of an audience. This staged reading is not just a performance-it’s the moment where the show can prove it deserves a full production.
We’re aiming to stage this presentation before the end of 2026 and we’re building it independently, without institutional backing.
