I have created this out of complete desperation and humility. Many of you know I had a stroke last year at 38, and I have struggled to return to work since then. I battle chronic fatigue, and sleep excessive amounts. Even when I am awake I am exhausted. Anything that requires mental concentration  drains  me, and when I was working part-time I would need to sleep the whole day after working to replenish my energy level. As I am currently not working and have no income, I have not been able to make payments on my mortgage. Now my mortgage company is threatening to sell my house. I have applied for long-term disability but haven’t received any payment yet. I understand that it is not anyone else’s responsibility to pay my bills but I am at a point of desperation and don’t know what else to do. I have 520 FB friends, and if even half of those could spare $10 that would help me out immensely. If you would prefer it to be a loan as opposed to a “donation” I am perfectly fine with that and would pay you back when I have income again. Please know that this is very difficult for me to do as I have lived on my own and not relied on anyone for years now. But I really do not wish to lose everything I have acquired over the years.
