Hi, my name is Stacy, and I’m a mom, a mental health professional, and someone doing her best to navigate life after being diagnosed with brain cancer.
This past year has tested every part of me—physically, emotionally, spiritually. I underwent a major brain surgery that, by the grace of God, saved my life. But survival comes with its own journey. I’m now working through the long road of recovery—relearning how to regulate emotions, manage day-to-day life, and continue showing up for my two beautiful young daughters, who are the center of my world.
I’ve always worked in the nonprofit mental health field, helping others through their storms. Now I’m learning what it means to be on the other side—and how to receive the help I never thought I’d need.
I’m deeply grateful to be surrounded by love: my husband, my mom, my siblings, aunts, uncles, and a prayer circle that’s lifted me up every single step. Their strength has kept me going through appointments, treatments, and the emotional weight of trying to stay grounded for my girls.
the reality is that the medical bills, therapy costs, and everyday living expenses are more than we can carry on our own right now. This isn’t about asking for handouts—it’s about keeping our foundation steady while I continue to fight and heal, so I can keep being the mom my daughters need and deserve.
If you feel moved to donate, please know how much it means to our family. Every dollar helps ease a burden. Every share spreads the word. And every prayer keeps us strong.
With heartfelt thanks,
Stacy
