The situation is urgent—she needs to be transported to Miami so she can receive the best possible care and surgery back in the United States. The Med Vac flight has to be pre-paid and might be eligible to be reimbursed by insurance, but there will still be significant costs involved in her treatment, travel, and recovery, which makes this already difficult time even more overwhelming for her and her loved ones.
