This is my mom and dad, Stacy and Mark. Earlier this year, my mom was diagnosed with dementia at just 60 years old. After raising kids for 40 years and recently becoming empty nesters, this was supposed to be their time, the time to travel, relax, and enjoy the life they built together.

Instead, my dad has now taken on the role of full-time caregiver, watching the woman he loves slowly lose pieces of herself. This isn’t the future they imagined after my youngest brother (who they adopted) graduated high school.

We are hoping to raise funds to give my parents the chance to make memories together while my mom can still enjoy them. Whether it’s traveling, going on little adventures, or simply having moments that bring her joy, these are experiences we don’t want to miss the chance to create.
