Help Stacy and Gary Overcome Financial Hardship

Hello,

I am setting this up on behalf of my Mom, Stacy Myers, and her Fiancé, Gary Reidt.

Friday August 15th, Gary took a tumble after having to get up in the middle of the night to fix a blown fuse. He missed a step and fell, ultimately causing him to fracture his rib. He tried resting and OTC remedies, pushed through work until his body said it was enough. Wednesday August 20th after coming home from work, Gary could feel a pop and a sudden flash of pain. By Thursday August 21st, the pain was worst and he had to call off of work and this is when he went to Urgent Care and was diagnosed with a fractured rib. They stated he would need to be on light duty at work during the duration of his healing with that being a minimum of 6-8 weeks (potentially longer). Gary immediately notified his job. HR set a meeting up this morning Monday August 25th were he was told this was not possible for his job and that he would have to be off work during his recovery time.

Gary is in the process of applying for Short Term Disability and FMLA to protect his job but as we all know, bills don't stop just because our bodies do. Along with this, the Short Term Disability will start at 70% of pay but then drops down to 40% of pay. So again, while helpful, will not cover all that is needed for them to stay afloat.

Gary is the breadwinner of the home. My Mom, Stacy, had already set up a start date for her new job being a caregiver before this all happened with her start date being this upcoming weekend August 30th. This will help but she will not be making enough to cover their expenses.

They have had many challenges the last few years that have left them unable to have a savings account and in a place where they need help and are having to reach out to ask for it.

They have 3 pets; 2 cats, Jetta & Jasmine and 1 dog, Romeo.

They sat down and looked over their bills, they run $2,205/month. Camper Payment, lot rent, car payment, car insurance, etc. I'm happy to provide exact numbers if needed :)

None of us like having to swallow our pride but there is a time where sometimes we just have to to be able to survive.

I myself, Stacy's daughter, am unable to assist due to my own health problems causing me to be tight financially but I am trying to do what I can to help them.

Anything that you can give is INCREDIBLY appreciated by us all. We know times are tough and we're all just trying to get by.
