Help Stacy and Ben recover.

Our Sister-in-law, Stacy has been through quite a bit the past 2 months. She lives with Inflammatory bowel disease

Also called: IBD

Which is ongoing inflammation of all or part of the digestive tract.

In early January she went in for nausea and vomiting that she had been dealing with on and off for weeks. They found out that it was a blocked pancreatic duct - and they went to clear the obstruction and accidentally perforated her bowl. She spent a month in the hospital due to this mistake. They had to do an exploratory surgery due to her going septic. Which constituted of them placing 3 drains in her side and having to do a stent sometime later.

During this time she suffered several complications due to the surgery which led to several trips to the ER and her being re-admitted to the hospital multiple times.

Her right hip and leg muscle were affected by the infection, and during she also lost a tremendous amount of weight and muscle tissue. Even now she still can't stand-up straight or hardly walk normal much less operate a vehicle.

Obviously Stacy has been unable to work and her husband, Ben has missed quite a bit having to care for his wife's medical needs. Family and Friends have been contributing what they can. And now, their lease is coming up and they will need to find more affordable housing by the end of April.

Her recovery will take time of course. They could really use some financial help with rent and overall expenses.
