Help Stacie Rebuild Life After Life-Altering Brain Surgeries

Our mom, Stacie, is one of the strongest, most loving, and selfless people we know. At just 54 years old, she’s spent her life working hard, showing up for her family, and building a reputation for dedication and integrity—especially through her years of service at Herc Rentals.

Recently, our lives changed in a way we never could have imagined. Stacie was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor, which required two major brain surgeries. While the procedures saved her life, they left her with devastating, permanent effects:

• Severe hearing loss

• Significant vision impairment

• Cognitive challenges affecting her memory and daily functioning

Stacie is now adjusting to a completely different way of living. Though she is able to live on her own, she requires ongoing assistance and support. She can no longer work, drive, or manage many daily tasks without help.

One of the most heartbreaking parts of this journey was watching Stacie have to say goodbye to her beloved dog, Lulu, who brought her constant companionship and joy. It’s just one example of the many things she’s lost along the way.

We, her children, are doing all we can to support her emotionally and physically. But the financial burden is far more than we can carry on our own. That’s why we’re reaching out to our community with this GoFundMe.
