Hi! I’m Stacey-Marie Williams, the heart and hands behind Iconic Desserts, a small home-based bakery located in Millersville, Maryland. What began as a passion project filled with cupcakes, cookies, and late-night baking sessions has grown into a cherished local business; all made possible by love, community support, and a whole lot of buttercream.

Over the past few years, I’ve had the joy of creating custom cakes and sweet treats that have been part of so many celebrations. But now, I’ve reached a turning point.

Earlier this year, my work contract ended, and despite continued job searching, I haven’t been able to secure a new full-time role. In the meantime, this bakery has become one of the primary ways I support my family. It’s not just a dream anymore; it’s a source of purpose, income, and hope.

Why I’m Asking for Your Help

The demand for my baked goods has grown beyond what my home kitchen can handle. State regulations also limit the types of treats I can legally make and where I can ship them. That’s why I’m raising funds to expand into a cloud kitchen—a licensed commercial kitchen space that will open up so many new possibilities, including:

  • Baking items not allowed in a home kitchen, like cheesecakes and cream pies
  • Increasing production to meet growing customer demand
  • Offering local delivery and pickup with better flexibility
  • Shipping orders out of state to customers across the country

And this is just the beginning.

My long-term dream is to also add a mobile food truck—so I can bring my baked goods directly to community events, farmers markets, and festivals. I want to create a space that serves not just desserts, but joy and connection.

What Your Donations Will Support

  • Securing and outfitting a cloud kitchen
  • Commercial-grade baking equipment
  • Licensing, inspections, and health permits
  • Packaging supplies and delivery tools
  • Initial savings toward a future food truck


Starting a cloud kitchen can cost between $60,000–$100,000, and food trucks often cost $95,000–$185,000. I’m saving and reinvesting every dollar I can, but I can’t do this alone.
