Our dear friend, Stacey, was diagnosed with leukemia some time ago and has done her best to keep it within her family for quite some time while pursuing a holistic approach to healing. However, over the past few months, it’s become clear that she will need to begin treatment soon. She has sought a naturopathic practitioner to assist with supporting her body as she prepares for the next step of her journey. This is not covered by her standard medical coverage and has been quite costly and will be an added part of her care to promote healing.

Simultaneously, while battling her own health, her son, Xavier, has also been dealing with health issues due to a chemical exposure (a leaking heater core in his car emitting mold and antifreeze vapors) resulting in major digestive issues and weight loss of 45 pounds in 10 months, making this an especially difficult time for their family which has resulted in ongoing prohibitive health expenses.

Their primary care provider could not provide answers and tests that Stacey and Ponch have requested. As a result, they have had to seek outside care and a plethora of testing for toxicity. This has been exceedingly costly with follow-ups, consultations, and tremendously expensive ongoing lab testing and treatment that is not covered by their benefits.

To help lighten the load for Stacey and Xavier, we’ve organized a GoFundMe to provide monetary support for nourishing meals, financial support for ongoing treatment and testing, and comfort as they focus on treatment, recovery, and caring for one another.
