Help Stacey Recover From a Serious Injury

Hi, my name is Stacey Sloniker from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.

On May 11, 2022 I was hit by an electric bike while on the grassy area near the sidewalk outside my place of work. The biker hit me from behind; it knocked me to the ground, and broke my left hip. The police were called. The biker was traveling about 20 miles an hour. Although there was a witness, the police were notified, and I hired legal representation, the biker's identity still remains unknown and no one has been able to locate him.

Since then, I have had screws put into my hip, a screw removed because it came out, and now will be having a hip replacement due to a dead femur.

I am a self employed hair stylist. I have been unable to maintain a fulltime career because I need to be able to stand to do my job. With my upcoming surgery, it’s unclear how long I will be out of work. My inability to work also effects my ability to pay my home bills, the rent for my salon chair, and day-to-day expenses. I have been at this craft I love for over 30 years, and very much wish to continue providing my clients with excellent care.
