Help Stacey Recover and Care for Her Children

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Stacey, and I’m a single mom of two amazing kids.
I have a sweet little girl who will be turning 2 in March, and a 5-year-old son with level 3 nonverbal autism who depends on me for everything. I’ve always worked hard to provide for them and to stay strong for my family—but on November 19th, our world changed in an instant.

While driving on the highway, a semi-truck carrying multiple vehicles merged directly into my lane. There was nothing I could do to avoid the collision. My baby girl was in the car with me, and by the grace of God, she was not injured. I, however, wasn’t as lucky.

From the accident, I suffered:
• Multiple broken ribs
• A fractured elbow that’s compressing my ulnar nerve
• A traumatic brain injury and severe concussion
• Partial hearing loss in my right ear
• A back injury that continues to cause daily pain

Before the accident, I was working at a local donation-based store in the loading dock. I hadn’t been there long enough to qualify for short-term disability, so when the accident took away my ability to work, I was left with no income. Bills are still coming in, medical appointments are piling up, and right now I’m trying to survive and take care of my kids on my son’s $900 SSI check alone.

Asking for help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I’m usually the person organizing fundraisers, helping others, and stepping in whenever someone needs support. But today, I’m the one who needs it. I’m praying that God places my family in the hearts of those who are able to help in any way—whether through donations, sharing this page, or lifting us up in prayer.

Despite everything, I am deeply thankful. The greatest gift I could ever receive is knowing that my daughter and I will be here to celebrate her 2nd birthday in March. We survived something we could have easily not walked away from, and for that, I’m forever grateful.

If you feel led to help us through this incredibly difficult time, from the bottom of my heart—thank you.
Every donation, every share, and every prayer means more to us than words can express
