After 13 years of never missing a rent payment, I along with every tenant in my apartment complex received a non-renewal notice. This wasn’t because of late payments or bad history; it was a decision made across the board, and suddenly I had to be out by sept 27th 2025. I quickly found a home to rent and got a roommate ( friend) but at the very last minute, backed out. I was supposed to split all costs with them Now, instead of dividing the expenses, I’m left facing them alone: deposits, pet fees, moving truck, and utility set ups.

I’m moving with my dog (my longtime companion) and three cats I rescued after neighbors abandoned them. They are my family and responsibility now and leaving them behind isn’t an option. But right now, the upfront costs are more than I can handle alone.
