Help Stacey Overcome Knee Surgery Complications

Donation protected
Hello folks! Little bit of back story. In November, I woke up to extreme pain in my knee. Appointment with Ortho confirmed my right knee was bone on bone and I needed a Right Total Knee Replacement (RTKR).

Fast forward after bloodwork, physical, ECHO, EKG, and stress test, my RTKR surgery was completed March 20th. Started Physical therapy (PT) right away. Then I hit a wall after 6 weeks. Upon my 6 week visit with surgeon, he recommended a Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA); however, the pain and swelling continued. I just knew something wasn't right and needed to be seen after an absess appeared on the scar. The surgeon's assistant saw me and he determined I had a Micro Suture Absess. He cut it open, pulled out the Suture and squeezed it. That's when quite a lot of puss came out. He said "that's not good" and scheduled me for an emergency CT scan. The Ortho office called me the next day for me to come in right away and see the surgeon. I knew that wasn't good news and the surgeon confirmed it wasn't. The CT scan showed a lot of fluid and infection on my new knee. I was so disappointed, mad, and frustrated.

I am now scheduled for ANOTHER surgery where he will clean/flush out the knee, remove any scar tissue, and put in the PICC line for 6 weeks of IV antibiotics. To top it off, I will have to stay a few days in the hospital after the surgery. Thankfully, my hero, my son Ateeba will be helping as much as he can during this time. After talking with the representative from the hospital, my medical bills are becoming unmanageable. I'm on payment plans already with cardiologist and previous surgery.

I've been selling stuff on facebook marketplace and baked goods to raise money to help. I am still unemployed and living paycheck to paycheck, so this has become quite a burden. I wouldn't ask for help but I'm at wits end and crying as I write this. If you feel it in your heart to even donate $5, I would be forever grateful. I'll post updates as they occur, and I'm hoping after the surgery, there will be less pain and I can do more baking.

Thank you for reading and listening. Please pray or send positive vibes. Love to you all.
