For over 30 years, I have been involved in dog rescue, and my heart has always been drawn to senior dogs who have lost their homes later in life. I believe every animal deserves a safe, loving place to spend their golden years, and I have dedicated myself to providing that for as many as I can. Alongside my dogs, I also care for a horse, a donkey, and two mini pigs, making sure they have the food, shelter, and medical care they need.

Recently, life has become more challenging. After being unemployed for seven months, I was grateful to find a part-time job, but it isn’t enough to cover all the ongoing costs. My animals are in need of vet visits to get caught up on health checks and vaccines, and my horse and donkey require hay deliveries about every 40 days. The costs of food supplies add up quickly, and I have fallen behind on my electric and heating bills. My two mini pigs also need supplies and hoof care every six months, while my horse and donkey require hoof care every six weeks. Despite these hardships, I remain committed to caring for senior, special needs, and hospice dogs, giving them comfort and love in their final years.
