Nobody ever thinks that they would get cancer until you get positive test results back.  Your life then gets turned upside down and you constantly feel like you're living in a bad dream.  Your fight or flight senses kick in & you asked yourself, why wasn't this ever detected after years of Drs. Appointments, checkups, blood work, etc..  It took being in pain to figure it out.

This is my sister Stacey.  A loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin & loyal friend.  Those that know her would say that she is the most caring, selfless & giving person that they know.  She is a 1998 graduate of Amherst High School, a 2005 graduate of Lorain County Community College & a 2006 Graduate of The University of Toledo.

With 2020 being the most challenging times that we have experienced, Stacey started that year with a breast cancer scare that came back negative.  Shortly after dealing with that emotional roller coaster, she now had other things to worry about. In May, she started to feel discomfort in her chest when she ate.  In July, the pain was real now whenever she ate or drank something.  After many doctor appointments and testing, she was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer shortly before Thanksgiving.  The size of the tumor in her esophagus was big enough that it only left the size of a grain of rice for an opening.

She has a long road ahead of her and I want her to feel that she isn't fighting this evil disease alone.  She started her first chemo treatment before Christmas and is getting ready for her second round of chemo & radiation at the end of February.  After that it's surgery & more chemo.

Asking for help isn’t easy, but Stacey needs it at this time.  I'm humbly asking for your support to help my sister beat CANCER & get through this journey.  Her income alone doesn't support what she is faced with financially.  With your support, all the donations will go toward her medical bills, loss of income, and an adjustable bed.  After surgery, she won't be able to lay flat.

If you can't make a donation, PLEASE SHARE & help spread the word.

Thank you in advance for your support.
