My name is Stacey, and I’m 31 years old. My journey with cancer began at 28, when I started experiencing unexplained symptoms—low white blood counts, swollen lymph nodes, and months of uncertainty. After countless tests and biopsies, I was finally diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma in August 2022. The cancer had spread to my chest, causing fluid to build up around my heart and lungs, and I spent over a month in the hospital. At the same time, I had just become a single mother to my three-year-old daughter, and being separated from her during my hospitalization was incredibly hard.
With the support of family and friends, I underwent chemotherapy and reached remission by January 2023. But my relief was short-lived. In May 2024, I relapsed, this time with a more aggressive leukemia (ALL). I endured more hospital stays, lung procedures, and new rounds of chemotherapy. I traveled from San Diego to City of Hope in Duarte for advanced treatments, including a CAR-T cell therapy trial. Each time I thought I was in the clear, the cancer returned. By June of 2025 I started a clinical trail called BAFFR cart t. It was successful and within less than a month I was able to receive my bone marrow transplant which I spend time away from home for a month. Most recently, I relapsed again in November 2025, and I’m now facing another round of treatment—my possible last chance at recovery.
I’m unable to work due to the aggressive nature of my illness and the constant hospitalizations. My disability benefits have run out, and social security offers very little. I’m raising my daughter with support of family, and the financial strain is overwhelming. I’m asking for help to cover medical bills, travel expenses, cost of living, food, gas, and to seek a second opinions. Your support will help me stay afloat, care for my daughter, and give me hope to keep fighting. I dream of getting back on my feet and starting a small blanket crochet business while I continue my battle.
Any donation will help with my financial burden. I will truly appreciate anything that can be donated or if this GoFundMe can be shared to help along. Truly, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I’m not giving up hope, and every bit of support means the world to us.
