Stacey is my best friend, and she’s always been someone who puts her family and community first. Her husband serves as a firefighter and works for the Department of Public Works in Fair Haven, and together they’ve raised two wonderful daughters, Maranda 19 & Sammy 16. Recently, Stacey began experiencing severe stomach pains that worsened over several months. Last Thursday night, the pain became unbearable, and she was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery. The doctors have told her she’ll need another surgery in about a month, and she’ll be unable to work for several months as she recovers.

This sudden health crisis has put a tremendous strain on Stacey’s family. With Stacey out of work, they’re facing challenges covering rent, monthly bills, and putting food on the table. Her husband continues to serve the community, but the loss of Stacey’s income has made things very difficult. Their daughters are doing their best to help, but the family is in urgent need of support to get through this tough time.
