CLOSED-Help Stabilize Paisley: Lost Cat Found Critical

Donation protected
Hi, I’m Harley and I'm raising funds on behalf of a close friend, Stephanie, and her fur-baby Paisley.

Stephanie got Paisley in February this year with her brother Pippins. They were adopted through a foster and are a bonded pair.

9/17 was the last time Stephanie saw Paisley. Stephanie has searched in rain, shine, day, and dark to find Miss Paisley. She was found in a nearby neighborhood this morning (11/23) and we immediately rushed her to AVets, which is where she is now.

Paisley is in critical condition, but she’s a fighter, which brings us here. Paisley is in shock, severely dehydrated, severely malnourished, flea-infested, anemic, and has a gnarly infected wound on her tail. She has at least 48 hours to stay just for her critical condition. She’s in need of at least one blood transfusion and possibly needs amputation of her tail. Stephanie wants to give her the best care possible. As long as Paisley is fighting, we want to fight for and alongside her. The only thing in the way is finances. Paisley is so loved and has been missed dearly while she was lost. The last thing we want is euthanasia due to finances.

Any help is greatly appreciated. We want to get Paisley the care she needs and home as soon as possible. Her bonded-by-adoption brother has missed her dearly. We want to take her home and reunite them. The last few photos were today after a round of fluids before our “see ya soon’s,” and you can see how much Paisley missed her momma. Your donation directly supports Paisley during her critical hospitalization and hopefully the first few follow-up appointments. This would allow Stephanie to prioritize Paisley’s care and preparing the household for her homecoming. We’ve fought hard to get Paisley home, and now that she’s been found and safe, that’s just around the corner.

Update: 11/23 5:45pm
Paisley is progressing beautifully!! Completely different cat than we brought in! Keep the help coming so she can come home!

update 2: 11/26 12:30pm
paisley came home late last night!! We have adjusted the goal to reflect the known cost of the emergency vet bill. The donations received will not go over the costs of Paisley’s er bill, follow ups, and treatment. She received a total of 4 blood transfusions which contributed to the bulk of the bill but is worth a lifetime. Thank you so much for your support. Your generosity got Paisley home, we are so grateful. Paisley still has a long road of recovery but she got to sleep in her bed for the first time since 9/17. The last photo in the Cone is her at home.

11/27: final update: around 3:30am this morning paisley crossed the rainbow bridge cuddled up in her warmest blankies and surrounded by loved ones. We appreciate all of your generosity in this difficult time, thank you.
